Typically we have large numbers of Mourning Dove during the first season which begins around mid September. Chattokee Lodge offers 3 dove hunt packages the first season that consists of an afternoon shoot the day of arrival and a morning shoot the following day. We can accommodate up to 10 guns and do require 8 for these hunts. Hunts take place on harvested corn fields, brown top millet fields, and fields sowed in winter wheat.
